Healthcare is using the Burgopak sliding packaging for a new erectile dysfunction treatment.

Levitra is being introduced in Austria, Chile, France and Hungary at the moment and will be rolled out to other countries in coming months. Levitra is the third Bayer product to use the Burgopak after Rennie Ice and Rennie Peppermint.

Global brand manager Thomas Proske said: “The Burgopak design is pocket friendly, discreet and gives the product a playful edge over our competitors. While it is patient safe and compliant, it also looks stylish and will appeal to our customers.”

As well as the sleek, stylish design the Burgopak sliding system also reduces the chance of counterfeiting, the firm said.  Tim Clarke, chief executive of Burgopak Healthcare and Technology, said: “In a highly competitive market, it offers differentiation and we’re delighted to continue working with Bayer.”  The Burgopak was first launched into the pharmaceuticals sector in 2008.
